Caring for your Hair

Achieve a flawless, seamless look for two to six months, depending on your hair care routine! Recognize it's time for extension removal when your natural hair intertwines with other strands, forming tangles. Keep your hair looking fabulous with these straightforward steps.

Brushing-

  • Divide your hair into sections and brush away using a dedicated extension brush. Exercise patience, especially when encountering matting or tangles; gently work the brush until your hair is detangled.
  • Separate your hair extensions. Single strands may become entangled over time, so after sectioning and brushing your hair, carefully pull apart any intertwined extensions.
  • Brush once more for good measure. With your extensions in place, brush from the scalp to the ends of your hair to ensure they maintain their optimal form.

Styling/Heat Styling-

To maximize the lifespan of your hair extensions, limit shampooing and styling to a maximum of three times per week. Avoid exposing your color to excessive heat by refraining from using styling tools with temperatures exceeding 300 degrees.

Shampooing-

  • Embark on a journey of revitalizing your scalp and achieving knot-free hair with the enchantment of shampooing. Handle the shampooing process with tenderness to prevent additional matting or the development of dreadlocks.
  • Initiate by softly brushing your dry hair, preparing it for easier sectioning and shower shampooing.
  • Moisten your hair and divide it into sections for a systematic approach.
  • Apply shampoo to your fingertips and gently massage it over your scalp and the upper areas of your extensions.
  • Rinse and replicate the process with the next section to ensure optimal results in your hair care routine.

Conditioner-

  • Focus on conditioning your hair from mid-shaft to ends, brushing through to minimize tangles.
  • Prevent faster slipping of beads and tape by avoiding direct conditioner contact.

After Shower-

  • Post-shower, what comes next? Small actions can make a big difference in preserving your flawless appearance. Discover these reliable and proven suggestions.
  • Embrace the air-dry method! Fortunately, we have the luxury of time during the current situation. Opt for air-drying when you're at home, as it's the gentlest approach to safeguard your extensions.
  • Avoid blow-drying upside down. Opt for a swift transition from wet to dry by blow-drying your hair in a downward motion. Drying upside down can be harsh on your extensions and, frankly, unnecessary.
  • Meet your new ally: the brush. Cultivate a daily routine of using your trusted extension brush two to three times a day for silky, luxurious locks. It's the key to maintaining your seamless look.

Sleeping-

  • Unlock the secret to safeguarding your hair extensions while you sleep! If you're a night owl or tend to toss and turn, fear not – follow these tips to prevent breakage and matting during your slumber.
  • First and foremost, avoid hitting the hay with wet hair. Ensure your locks are dry by gently blow-drying or air-drying before catching those essential zzz's.
  • Make detangling a nightly ritual using your trusty extension brush.
  • Opt for a braid or low ponytail before drifting off. This method not only keeps your hair extensions in place but also adds an extra layer of comfort to your night. Rest easy, knowing your extensions are in good hands
  • We highly recommend sleeping in a silk bonnet for that extra layer of softness.
